Washington Redskins NFL Predictions

Week 1
Sep 11
Minnesota Win Projected – Catching a dome team out of their element is almost always a good way to open the season. The earlier of two Monday night football games scheduled on the 11th.
Week 2
Sep 17
@Dallas Loss Projected – A short week before this Sunday night football game. Remember last season’s wild finish on Monday night football? The Cowboys do too.
Week 3
Sep 24
@Houston Win Projected – Could be getting at least the first road win in a trip to Reliant Stadium.
Week 4
Oct 1
Jacksonville Loss Projected – A losable home game versus one of the top teams from the AFC in 2005.
Week 5
Oct 8
@N.Y. Giants Loss Projected – The Redskins were blown out at Giants Stadium in 2005. This would certainly qualify as one of the more losable road games in 2006.
Week 6
Oct 15
Tennessee Win Projected – A must win home game sandwiched between road trips to face the Manning brothers.
Week 7
Oct 22
@Indianapolis Win Projected – A maximum effort before the bye week versus a team that could be rusty coming off their bye week could lead to a big win. As good a spot to be in when playing at the RCA dome.
Week 8
Oct 29
BYE 4-3 at the bye if these preseason predictions for the 2006 Washington Redskins prove accurate.
Week 9
Nov 5
Dallas Loss Projected – Can’t afford any rust after the bye, or the Cowboys could potentially return last season’s series sweep.
Week 10
Nov 12
@Philadelphia Win Projected – Catching the Eagles off their bye week could help get a key road victory in the division.
Week 11
Nov 19
@Tampa Bay Loss Projected – Schedule stays tough with this third difficult game in a row… Fourth if you leave out the bye. And three more tough games on deck. This game could potentially decide a playoff spot between the two teams.
Week 12
Nov 26
Carolina Win Projected – Would be a big win, and it’s one of the tougher road games for the Panthers in 2006. From the perspective of the Redskins a victory here could mean the difference between making the playoffs or not.
Week 13
Dec 3
Atlanta Win Projected – Catching the Falcons in colder weather out of their element is certainly better than playing them at the Georgia Dome.
Week 14
Dec 10
Philadelphia Win Projected – Sweeping the Eagles may be the key to attaining a postseason berth.
Week 15
Dec 17
@New Orleans Win Projected – A must win road game. The defense needs to be on alert for an offense that may be jelling under Brees. The Redskins played well in domes in 2005.
Week 16
Dec 24
@St. Louis Win Projected – Second indoor game in a row could make this one easier to handle.
Week 17
Dec 30
N.Y. Giants Loss Projected – Likely a must win game. Possible playoff implications including potential tie breaker scenarios with the Giants.
