2006 NFL Projection:
If Marc Bulger can stay healthy for 16 games, the Rams could contend for a playoff spot. But the second place finish in 2005 at only 6-10 puts a hurting on the 2006 schedule, as it draws two other second place teams with much better records, both having made the playoffs in 2005; the 11-5 Carolina Panthers, and the 10-6 Washington Redskins.

While possessing a solid home field advantage, the Rams need to play better on the road, and might need to sweep their division rival Seattle (as they did in 2004) if they are going to have a shot at making the playoffs… Winning road games @Arizona and @Green Bay would do wonders for the playoff chances of the 2006 Rams… See straight up NFL game predictions.

St. Louis Rams NFL Predictions

Week 1
Sep 10
Denver Loss Projected – The Rams have a great home field advantage, but this could be a losable game versus a solid Broncos team that played in the AFC championship game last season.
Week 2
Sep 17
@San Francisco Win Projected – The Rams are fully aware of last season’s sweeping by the 49ers.
Week 3
Sep 24
@Arizona Loss Projected – This would be a tough loss, especially if starting 1-2.
Week 4
Oct 1
Detroit Win Projected – Likely back to .500 or better.
Week 5
Oct 8
@Green Bay Loss Projected – Taking two of the first three road games would be a plus, but it might not happen for a Rams team that plays better indoors than outdoors.
Week 6
Oct 15
Seattle Win Projected – The Rams were swept by Seattle last season, but St. Louis did the sweeping the prior season. Flip flop trend could be in effect. Expect a maximum effort before the bye which could help pave the way to an important victory.

Week 10
Nov 12
@Seattle Win Projected – Could be going for a payback sweep.
Week 11

@Carolina Loss Projected – Schedule toughens with the third of three difficult games in a row. The Panthers will be playing on a short week and that could play to the Rams advantage.

Week 13
Dec 3
Arizona Win Projected – Could be payback for an early season stumble if these preseason projections hold up.
