2006 NFL Projection:
The Saints have great potential on offense. The sooner
the team can jell under Brees the more noise New Orleans can make
in their division. It will be interesting to see how
Bush fairs at the pro level. Unfortunately, the Saints find one
of the toughest schedules in the league this season consisting of eleven
games versus teams that finished at .500 or better in 2005; thanks
to playing in the very competitive NFC South, and thanks to landing
additional games versus Washington, Cincinnati, @Dallas, @NY Giants,
and @Pittsburgh… Perhaps a two year plan should be in effect for
new head coach Sean Payton… First get the offense jelling in
2006. Then commit 100% to improving the defense in 2007. Then a
shift could start to take place in the NFC South.
