safety, second WR spot.
Opportunities:

1st round draft pick DT Tyson Alualu could solidify the D-line.
Can DT Terrance Knighton pick up where he

Acquisition of LG Justin Smiley adds depth to the O-line.
Threats:
Can DE Aaron Kampman be the same player he was in Green Bay now coming back from an ACL tear?
Loss of DE Bryan Smith for the year.
Competitive division rivals (Indianapolis, Houston, Tennessee).
Further abundance of competitive teams
in the AFC heading into the ’10 season
including
the New York Jets, Baltimore Ravens,
Cincinnati Bengals, Miami Dolphins, Pittsburgh
Steelers, San Diego Chargers, and
New England Patriots.
Schedule Analysis:
In 2010 the ‘Jags will play just 5 contests versus teams that made the playoffs last season;
Other potentially competitive matchups include;
Weak teams from last season on the schedule such as the Redskins and Raiders are improved.
The Broncos are certainly of at least similar talent or better…
Overall Jacksonville figures to be either underdogs– or very short favorites in roughly 13 of
their 16 games.
