2006 NFL Projection:
The Texans enter 2006 and find a schedule that consists of nine games versus teams that finished better than .500 in 2005 including;

The loss of Davis is a tough way to start. Meanwhile, the offensive line will have to improve dramatically to contend against the above teams. It appears success will have to wait for the future as the Texans 2006 schedule is sheer brutality.

Houston Texans 2006 NFL Predictions

Week 1
Sep 10
Philadelphia Loss Projected – The Eagles finished at 6-10 last season, but play in perhaps the best division in the NFL.
Week 2
Sep 17
@Indianapolis Loss Projected – Not a desirable first road game.
Week 3
Sep 24
Washington Loss Projected – Third tough game in a row. The Redskins were road warriors in 2005.
Week 4
Oct 1
Miami Loss Projected – Expect a maximum effort to go for a win before the bye. But it may not be enough to get the victory versus a Dolphins team that has added Culpepper.
Week 5
Oct 8
BYE 0-4 at the bye if these preseason predictions for the 2006 Houston Texans prove accurate.
Week 6
Oct 15
@Dallas Loss Projected – There could be some cobwebs after the bye week as the Texans are likely to be heavy underdogs in another difficult matchup versus the tough NFC East.
Week 7
Oct 22
Jacksonville Loss Projected – It seems there is no letup in the schedule difficulty.
Week 8
Oct 29
@Tennessee Loss Projected – A little let up. But a road game none the less.
Week 9
Nov 5
@N.Y. Giants Loss Projected – The first of two very tough road games in a row.
Week 10
Nov 12
@Jacksonville Loss Projected – The second tough road game in a row.
Week 11
Nov 19
Buffalo Loss Projected – After several tough road games, they may be ready to win this home game. But the Bills got the better of them in 2005.
Week 12
Nov 26
@N.Y. Jets Loss Projected – On the road versus a team that could be very hungry for a home win of its own.
Week 13
Dec 3
@Oakland Loss Projected – Another game versus a team that could be very hungry for a home win. It would be healthy for the Texans to win one of these two road games.
Week 14
Dec 10
Tennessee Win Projected – Good chance for a home win. The Titans could be starting a certain rookie at QB.
Week 15
Dec 17
@New England Loss Projected – Odds are there will be little chance for a road win in cold New England.
Week 16
Dec 24
Indianapolis Loss Projected – Could give their all in a classic first half scare of the Colts before succumbing in the second half to a team that will almost certainly need the game for playoff purposes.
Week 17
Dec 31
Cleveland Loss Projected – Another chance for a home win, but could have left it all out on the field in the prior week versus the Colts.
