2006 NFL Projection:
The Bills find a few favorable schedule set ups having several cold weather games versus warm weather teams late in the season. But it may not be enough to help the team improve upon the 2005 campaign. With just two projected wins in the division, the Bills are likely to find themselves looking up at New England and Miami during the 2006 season.

Regular Season NFL Predictions:
The following were FootballLOCKS.com’s straight up, non point spread NFL game projections for the 2006 Buffalo Bills, displayed as predictions of which games were likely to be won and lost.

Buffalo Bills 2006 NFL Predictions

Week 1
Sep 10
@New England Loss Projected – Tough road opener in spite of last season’s near win at Gillette Stadium.
Week 2
Sep 17
@Miami Loss Projected – It will be hard to beat the heat in Miami. And the Dolphins were strong finishers in 2005 who have since added former pro bowl quarterback Dante Culpepper.
Week 3
Sep 24
N.Y. Jets Win Projected – A winnable home game and a must win to avoid a potential 0-3 start.
Week 4
Oct 1
Minnesota Loss Projected – Perhaps a winnable home game versus a team that will be playing out of their element. But the Vikings won games outdoors on the road last season versus the Giants and Packers. And were very strong finishers going 8-2 in their last ten games.
Week 5
Oct 8
@Chicago Loss Projected – On the road versus a tough defense.
Week 6
Oct 15
@Detroit Loss Projected – One of the more winnable road games on the schedule. Unfortunately, the Bills defense surrendered more points than the Lions defense in 2005. And the Bills will be out of their element indoors at Ford Field.
Week 7
Oct 22
New England Loss Projected – Surely a maximum effort before the bye, but it might not be enough.
Week 8
Oct 29
BYE 1-6 at the bye if these preseason predictions for the 2006 Buffalo Bills prove correct.
Week 9
Nov 5
Green Bay Loss Projected – Could be rusty after the bye in what should certainly be a winnable home contest.
Week 10
Nov 12
@Indianapolis Loss Projected – Likely to be outmatched in the RCA Dome.
Week 11
Nov 19
@Houston Win Projected – Beat the Texans handily at home last season and looking for a repeat performance on the road in 2006.
Week 12
Nov 26
Jacksonville Loss Projected – Although the colder it is, the better the Bills chances to upset the Jaguars should be.
Week 13
Dec 3
San Diego Win Projected – With the temperatures getting colder, a warm weather team with a first year starter at quarterback may prove beatable.
Week 14
Dec 10
@N.Y. Jets Loss Projected – A winnable road game. But also a winnable game for the home squad.
Week 15
Dec 17
Miami Win Projected – Weather could help put the fish on ice.
Week 16
Dec 24
Tennessee Win Projected – More favorable weather for the home squad could make the difference.
Week 17
Dec 31
@Baltimore Loss Projected – Facing a team that could be more motivated to get a win in week 17 in front of their home crowd.
