Baltimore Ravens 2011 Season Win Total Outlook & Projection:
2011 Baltimore Ravens Las Vegas Season Win Total Line;
Oddsmakers currently have the regular season
win total betting line for the Baltimore Ravens set at 10.5 wins…
This number is a reduction
of 1.5 wins from the Ravens’ prior year regular season mark of (12-4).
Part of this line has to do with the fact that there’s only
so high Las Vegas can make a season win total, before it will draw
completely unbalanced action to the under…
That being said, the Ravens sport the second easiest
strength of schedule on paper. So barring significant
injury, we like Baltimore’s chances to go over
the total of 10.5 wins.
Schedule Analysis:
In 2011 Baltimore will play just 5 games versus playoff teams from a season ago.
That’s the same low number of games versus playoff caliber competition
compared to the prior year campaign.
Of course the Seahawks in their current state of affairs
can essentially be removed from the above list.
Other potentially competitive games include;
@St. Louis in week 3, Houston in week 6, @Cleveland in week 13,
and @San Diego in week 15.
Meanwhile, lighter competition include the following;
@Tennessee in week 2, @Jacksonville in week 7,
Arizona in week 8, Cincinnati in week 11,
Cleveland in week 16, and @Cincinnati in week 17.
Record Projection:
In 2011 we project the Ravens to go (12-4), topping the
Vegas season win total of 10.5 games. With a squad as talented
as the Ravens, there is the potential for upside to an already high 12 win number.
Of course injuries could always wreak havoc in the other direction.
