Colts
14-0
The Colts pulled out another remarkable win, topping the Jaguars
on Thursday night for the 23rd straight regular season victory.
With the top seed clinched, plus a new record for regular
season wins in a row, there’s just one “regular
season task” left to accomplish.
2/2
Saints
13-1
The Saints’ quest for perfection ended in week 14 at home versus Dallas.
The top seed can be theirs with a
win or a Viking loss.
3/4
Chargers
11-3
The Chargers held on against Cincinnati thanks to
a bit of a snooze job by the refs, and are in good
position to earn a first round bye.
4/3
Vikings
11-3
The Vikings were decimated in Carolina. They can clinch
a first round bye with a win at Chicago coupled with
Denver upsetting Philadelphia.
5/6
Bengals
9-5
Cincinnati gave a great effort in San Diego, but came up
just short… A win in week 16 over the Chiefs will clinch
the AFC North, as will a loss by the Ravens.
6/8
Eagles
10-4
The Eagles grabbed win number 10, a home victory over the 49ers.
An earlier home loss
to Dallas this season may prove to be the difference in the NFC East.
7/13
Cowboys
9-5
Dallas played the perfect game in New Orleans, breaking up the Saints’
quest for perfection, while putting themselves in the driver’s seat
to take the NFC East.
8/5
Broncos
8-6
Denver’s run defense and rushing attack sputtered
at home versus the Raiders. But even more noteworthy,
Denver allowed JaMarcus Russell to toss the winning
TD.
9/7
Packers
9-5
The Packers fell on the last play of the game in Pittsburgh,
but are still in good shape to grab a wild card spot.
10/9
Cardinals
9-5
The Cardinals grabbed win number nine versus Detroit and clinched the
NFC West.
11/10
Patriots
9-5
With their win at Buffalo, the Patriots moved one step closer
to clinching the AFC East.
12/12
Giants
8-6
The Giants kept their slim playoff hopes
alive with a blowout of the Redskins in Washington.
13/14
Ravens
8-6
Flacco tossed 4 TD’s as the Ravens throttled the Bears, keeping their playoff
chances in their own hands.
14/17
Steelers
7-7
Tomlin gambled, rolling the dice with a gutsy clock management tactic that
appeared to backfire when the Packers scored a quick TD off an
onsides kick… But when Roethlisberger tossed a TD on the last play of the game,
the Steelers had the “W”… As for playoff chances, that’s another story.
15/11
Dolphins
7-7
The Dolphins fell at Tennessee in OT… Just another of the many heartbreaking
losses suffered by Miami this season that will likely keep them out of
the postseason.
16/18
Titans
7-7
The Titans kept their slim playoff hopes alive with an overtime win over the
Dolphins, a game which they nearly blew…
Chris Johnson continued his sensational season with another 100+ yard rushing
effort plus over 50 yards receiving.
17/19
Falcons
7-7
The Falcons gave the Saints a run for their money,
but fell short in what’s become an injury riddled
campaign.
18/15
Jets
7-7
The Jets lost a crucial game at home versus Atlanta, making their
playoff chances quite slim.
19/22
Panthers
6-8
Matt Moore had a great game as the Panthers dominated Minnesota
on Sunday night.
20/16
Jaguars
7-7
The Jaguars could have taken down the Colts on Thursday night.
Looking at their final drive which ended in a game losing
interception in Colt territory, anyone could
plainly see they had more than enough time to slip in
a few runs against
a defense set up to play the pass– but they pushed the panic
button (as most teams do) and abandoned the run to their own
demise.
21/20
Texans
7-7
Despite the yardage explosion from Shaub to Johnson, the Texans
barely slipped by at St. Louis to get back to the .500 mark and keep
their ultra-slim playoff hopes alive.
22/24
Raiders
5-9
The Raiders ran all over the Broncos in Denver, while JaMarcus Russell
delivered the ultimate shock, tossing the game winning TD pass.
While it was a great victory, it certainly doesn’t erase
the season he’s had.
23/21
49ers
6-8
The 49ers had no answer for DeSean Jackson, and Smith threw
3 interceptions @Philly as the 49ers feel to 2 games
below .500.
24/26

Bills
5-9
Despite holding Brady to essentially nothing, the Bills had very little
chance to Beat New England at home… Josh Reed’s career long
pass catching woes certainly didn’t help.
25/25

Bears
5-9
Say it ain’t so Jay. Three more interceptions… The Bears picked up loss
number nine in Baltimore.
26/23
Redskins
4-10
The Redskins picked up their 10th loss, getting crushed at home
on Monday night by the Giants.
27/28
Browns
3-11
Jerome Harrison ran all over the Chiefs in
K.C. to the tune of 286 yards and 3 TD’s, leading the Browns
to their second straight win.
28/27
Seahawks
5-9
The Seahawks picked up their ninth loss of the season
as they were upset at home by the Buccaneers.
29/30
Buccaneers
2-12
Tampa Bay grabbed their second win of the season, upsetting
the Seahawks in Seattle as suggested in last week’s power rankings…
30/29
Chiefs
3-11
Despite putting up nice offensive numbers, the Chiefs fell at home
to the Browns as Jerome Harrison ran for 286 yards and 3 TD’s.
31/31
Rams
1-13
The Rams picked up loss #13 versus the Texans.
I suppose this season has gone just as expected
since the Rams are two losses away from meeting
our season forecast.
32/32
Lions
2-12
Detroit gave the Cardinals a run for their money, but still picked up loss
number twelve.
