The Colts were dramatically out-rushed in Oakland but hung on for their 12th win of the season,

Cowboys
|
12-2
|
Romo’s thumb was injured in the third quarter,

clinched a first-round playoff bye. However, home field advantage
throughout the playoffs
is not guaranteed…
The Cowboys slip behind the Colts in the ratings as both
Dallas and Indianapolis lost to New England, but the Colts
played the Patriots 17 points closer.
Additionally, Dallas’ second loss was to the (6-8) Eagles, whereas Indianapolis’
second loss was at (9-5) San Diego… Of course the Cowboys did beat the Colts
last season. However, the Colts are the defending champs. The bottom line is these
teams are very close.

The Giants lost a key game to Washington at home Sunday night are not guaranteed

|
4-10
|
For the second week in a row the 49ers played solid run defense; this week it resulted in
a win thanks in part to the offense holding up its end of the bargain with Gore and
