1/1
Patriots
13-0
The Patriots continued their march towards perfection with a 21 point victory over the Steelers,
clinching a first-round playoff bye in the process.
2/2
Cowboys
12-1
The Cowboys clinched the NFC East with a dramatic 4th quarter comeback win at Detroit.
Dallas can earn a first-round bye with a victory over the Eagles or if
Seattle losses at Carolina.
3/3
Colts
11-2
The Colts won at Baltimore by 24 points to clinch a wild card spot
and move one step closer to taking the AFC South.
4/4
Packers
11-2
The Packers blew out Oakland by 31 points, clinching the NFC North with the victory.
5/6
Jaguars
9-4
The Jaguars took another step toward a playoff berth with a 31 point crushing of the
Panthers.
6/5
Steelers
9-4
Pittsburgh dropped their exploratory mission in New England; falling by 21 points as the Patriots’
offensive line
proved too much for the Steelers’ pass rush. Of course, the Steelers were playing without
Polamalu.
7/8
Giants
9-4
The Giants took another step toward a playoff berth with a narrow victory in
Philadelphia, earning a sweep of the Eagles.
8/9
Chargers
8-5
The Chargers pulled out an improbable comeback win at Tennessee. The victory moved San Diego
another step closer towards clinching the AFC West.
9/10
Seahawks
9-4
The Seahawks grabbed their 5th win in a row; a 21 point thrashing of the Cardinals
to clinch the NFC West… Seattle has an outside shot at a playoff
bye but either the Cowboys or Packers would have to have a meltdown.
10/7
Buccaneers
8-5
Playing without Garcia the Buccaneers were defeated soundly in Houston.
However, the Texans were playing without Shaub as well. At any rate, Tampa Bay
appears to have the NFC South locked up.
11/12
Browns
8-5
The Browns took another step
toward a playoff berth thanks to their victory over the Jets, and thanks to
Tennessee blowing a fourth quarter lead against San Diego…
Additionally, Cleveland gained a game on the Steelers
and now trail Pittsburgh by one game minus 2 games in hand.
The Browns host the Bills this week in what is essentially a playoff game.
12/11
Titans
7-6
In blowing a 14 point fourth quarter lead to the Chargers, the Titans may very well
have cost themselves a playoff spot.
13/16
Vikings
7-6
The Vikings took advantage of five turnovers by San Francisco
to grab their 4th win in a row, staying ahead of several teams in the hunt
for the NFC’s second wild card spot… The most pivotal game is likely to
home to Washington in week 16.
14/17

Bills
7-6
The Bills crushed Miami at home to get above the .500 mark and stay in hot
contention for the AFC’s second wild card spot… The Bills are just a few
plays away from having 9 wins. Meanwhile, Buffalo’s game of the year comes this week in
Cleveland. A win would be key for the Bills’
playoff chances, while a loss would likely pave the way for the Browns to make the
postseason.
15/14
Redskins
6-7
Todd Collins entered in relief of the injured Campbell and lead Washington to victory over Chicago
despite the Redskins rushing for only 31 yards. The win keeps Washington in contention for a wild
card berth. However the Skins face a tough remaining schedule; the Giants, the Vikings, and the Cowboys.
However, Dallas may not need to show up in week 17. So oddly enough, Skins fans may want to root for Dallas
to have a record of (14-1) coming into week 17.
16/13
Cardinals
6-7
In a game the Cardinals needed
for postseason aspirations, Arizona was blown out in Seattle…
Looking back on this season if the Cardinals could have handled the 49ers twice
they would be (8-5) with a great chance to make the playoffs.
17/15
Eagles
5-8
The Eagles lost at home to the Giants, dropping the club three games below .500, and essentially
ending Philly’s chances of making the playoffs, though they’re not mathematically eliminated.
18/18
Lions
6-7
The Lions lost their 5th game in a row, a heartbreaker to Dallas
in which they had a double digit 4th quarter lead… With games still remaining at San Diego
and at Green Bay, Detroit’s playoff chances look all but over.
19/20
Broncos
6-7
The Broncos crushed the Chiefs to get to a game under .500…
However, to make the playoffs the Broncos will need a lot of help.
20/22
Texans
6-7
Playing without Shaub, the Texans took care of business against the Buccaneers playing
without Garcia. The victory keeps Houston’s slim wild card hopes alive for
at least one more week.
21/21
Saints
6-7
The Saints kept their slim playoff hopes alive with a Monday night victory in
Atlanta.
22/19

Bears
5-8
Chicago’s season almost certainly came to an end thanks to dropping a Thursday night
affair in Washington.
23/23
Raiders
4-9
After back to back division wins Oakland went to Green Bay and got decimated, falling back
to 5 games below .500.
24/24
Chiefs
4-9
The Chiefs lost their 6th game in a row, falling at Denver by 34 points. Enough said.
25/25
Bengals
5-8
Cincinnati took care of business against the Rams playing without Bulger to pull back
to 3 games under .500.
26/26
Ravens
4-9
Could Baltimore have burned up everything they had in their last second loss to the Patriots
that they couldn’t even get up for the Super Bowl champs?
The Ravens fell to 5 games below .500 thanks to getting blown out at home by the Colts.
27/27
Panthers
5-8
The Panthers were blown out at Jacksonville in a tale of teams headed in
opposite directions.
28/28
Jets
3-10
Despite getting over 100 yards rushing from Jones,
the Jets fell at home to the Browns. The loss dropped New York to 7 games
below .500… The Jets head to New England next week for spygate part two.
29/29
Rams
3-10
Playing without Bulger the Rams fell at Cincinnati, dropping to 7 games below .500.
30/30
Falcons
3-10
The Falcons dropped their fourth game in row, falling at home to the Saints on
Monday night.
The loss sank Atlanta to 7 games below .500.
31/31
49ers
3-10
With the exception of Taylor’s 84-yard touchdown
run, the 49ers shut down the Vikings’ running game.
Unfortunately San Francisco turned the ball over 5 times and Dilfer left with an injury.
As a result, the 49ers lost their 10th game of the season,
falling by 20 points at home to Minnesota.
32/32
Dolphins
0-13
The Dolphins continued their stumble towards imperfection turning the ball over 5 times for the second week in a row, resulting
in another blow out loss; this time at the hands of the Bills.
