Chargers
11-2
San Diego swept Denver and takes over the top spot.
Even though the Chargers lost to the Ravens earlier this season, the
game was in Baltimore, it came down to the wire, and
San Diego held the lead for the majority of the game. Meanwhile, the Chargers beat the Broncos twice, while
the Broncos beat the Ravens.

Bears
11-2
The sign of a championship team? Being able to win games many different ways. This week the Bears
did it with 2 kickoff returns
for touchdowns by Devin Hester in St. Louis.
3 (3)
Ravens
10-3
It’s not easy to win in Kansas City. But the Ravens made it look easy, going into Arrowhead and coming out with
their 10th win of the season.

Colts
10-3
Losing in Jacksonville is nothing to
get alarmed about. On the other hand, losing in Tennessee certainly was alarming.
Of course, Indianapolis has plenty of quality wins this year. But after losing for the 3rd time in the last 4 games,
the Colts would do well to get it turned around. Otherwise we’ll be writing
about 4 losses in 5 games next week.
5 (8)
Saints
9-4
Drew Brees threw 5 TD’s as the Saints floored the Cowboys in Dallas to gain the
inside track a 1st round playoff bye.
6 (5)
Patriots
9-4
New England was shutout in Miami as Tom Brady was held to 78
yards passing. And while the Patriots historically have struggled when visiting the Dolphins,
this loss has caused the early season questions about New England’s passing game to reemerge.
7 (9)
Jaguars
8-5
The Jaguars were tough as nails at home once again, this time blowing out the Colts to get
back into the playoff hunt. It’s hard to believe Jacksonville lost to Houston twice.
8 (6)
Cowboys
8-5
Hopes for a 1st round playoff bye took a hit in Dallas as
the Cowboys’ defense was torched by Brees for 5 TD’s, and Romo quietly threw multiple interceptions
for the 3rd time.
9 (10)
Bengals
8-5
The Bengals made easy work of the Raiders, improving their winning streak to 3, and staying in the playoff hunt.
A huge Monday night game awaits next week in Indianapolis.
10 (7)
Seahawks
8-5
Seattle’s hopes for a 1st round playoff bye took a hit as the Seahawks were upset on the road by the last
place Cardinals.
11 (12)
Giants
7-6
New York got back into the playoff hunt with an important road win against the Panthers who were playing without
Delhomme.
12 (15)
Falcons
7-6
The Falcons jumped back into wild card contention with a road win in Tampa Bay.
13 (13)
Chiefs
7-6
The Chiefs needed a win to stay at the forefront of wild card contention, but their strong home field
advantage was no match for the Baltimore Ravens.
14 (11)
Broncos
7-6
The once mighty Broncos fell to just 1 game above the .500 mark, getting swept by the Chargers.
Denver might have to run the table to make the playoffs. Unfortunately, the Broncos are
still looking for their 1st win behind Jay Cutler… Whereas winning was something the Broncos
seemed to have little trouble doing with Jake Plummer at the helm.
15 (14)
Jets
7-6
The New York Jets lost a key home game to Buffalo. A win would have put the Jets into serious wild card contention.
16 (16)
Titans
6-7
Vince Young and the Titans avoided a letdown after beating the Colts, and grabbed
an overtime win in Houston to sweep the
Texans. It was the Titans 4th win in a row. Suddenly the Titans are just 1 game below the .500 mark.
17 (17)
Eagles
7-6
Philadelphia may have lost McNabb for the year, but they certainly haven’t stopped trying to win. And winning
is exactly what they are doing as the Eagles are still alive for a playoff spot.
18 (20)
Dolphins
6-7
The Dolphins put immense pressure on Tom Brady and shut out the Patriots.
It’s hard to believe a team with wins over New England and Chicago,
has losses against Houston and Green Bay.
19 (21)
Steelers
6-7
Willie Parker ran over the Browns but it still can’t erase any of Pittsburgh’s 7 losses.
20 (18)
Panthers
6-7
With Delhomme injured, the Panthers suffered a home loss to the Giants that could keep them out of the playoffs.
21 (19)

6-7
Buffalo won on the road against the Jets, setting up yet another opportunity to reach the .500 mark.

Minnesota grabbed a road win in Detroit to keep their slim playoff hopes alive.
23 (24)
Rams
5-8
The Rams’ playoff hopes took a major hit in a home loss to the Bears in which St. Louis allowed
Chicago’s Devin Hester to return 2 kickoffs for touchdowns.
24 (25)
Redskins
4-9
Ladell Betts rushed for over 150 yards for the 2nd week in a row, but it still didn’t result in a
Washington victory as the Redskins fell at home to the Eagles.
25 (28)
Packers

5-8
The Packers ended their 3 game skid by winning on the road in San Francisco.

San Francisco surrendered 30+ points for the 7th time this season as the 49ers fell at home to Green Bay.

Houston allowed Tennessee to pull off the sweep, falling at home in overtime.
28 (29)
Cardinals
4-9
The Cardinals won their 2nd game in a row, upsetting the Seahawks. Arizona will go for 3 in a row against
the struggling Broncos next weekend.
29 (26)
Browns
4-9
The Browns allowed Willie Parker to set a new Steelers’ record for rushing yards in a single game
as Cleveland was blown out in Pittsburgh.
