Patriots
12-0
New England remained perfect grabbing another imperfect
win. The Patriots used an improbable game winning drive choc full of memorable
moments such as an unfortunately timed time out called by Baltimore on a 4th and 1 where the Ravens appeared to have the Patriots stopped (although Brady said he stopped running
when he heard the whistle), a key false start, and a holding penalty in the end zone before Brady connected with Gaffney for the game winning TD.
Then there was the hail mary from Boller to Clayton on the last play of the game caught at the two yard line… If the Patriots go undefeated, these will be a few
of the memorable moments.

2/2
Cowboys
11-1
In the first battle of (10-1) teams since 1990, the Cowboys
passing game was too much for the Packers to handle, especially without Charles
Woodson.
With the victory Dallas currently holds the top seed in the NFC.
3/4
Colts
10-2
With a home victory over the Jaguars, the Colts completed a season sweep of Jacksonville,
opening up a 2 game
plus 2 games in hand lead
over the Jags in the AFC South, all but locking up the division.
4/3
Packers
10-2
In the first battle of (10-1) teams since 1990, Green Bay fell at Dallas.
Charles Woodson missed the game, and Favre left with an injury, although
Aaron Rodgers played quite well in relief. With the loss Green Bay currently drops
into the two seed in the NFC.
5/6
Steelers
9-3
Pittsburgh held Cincinnati under 250 total net yards of offense to grab the sweep.
Meanwhile, the Steelers opened up a 2 game plus 2 games in hand lead on the Browns who lost in Arizona.
6/5
Jaguars
8-4
The Jaguars fell just short at Indianapolis, losing by 3 points.
A win would have moved the Jaguars into a first place
tie with the Colts in the AFC South.
Instead the loss knocked the Jags 2 games minus 2 games in hand
behind Indianapolis
thanks to getting swept by the Colts this season.
7/7
Buccaneers
8-4
Tampa Bay dramatically out-yarded New Orleans thanks to 300 yards of passing
by Luke McCown filling in for the injured Garcia…
With the victory the Bucs have all but locked up the NFC South.
8/8
Giants
8-4
The Giants rallied for two late touchdowns to grab a comeback win in Chicago.
Ward rushed for 154 yards before breaking
a leg… With the victory the Giants remain at the forefront of the wild card race in the NFC.
9/9
Chargers
7-5
LT ripped off 177 yards rushing as the Chargers won in Kansas City, helping to open up a
2 game plus one game in hand lead over the Broncos in the AFC West.
10/11
Seahawks
8-4
Seattle grabbed a road win in Philadelphia to stay 2 games minus one game in hand ahead of the Cardinals in the NFC West.
As far as rankings go there’s not much room in the top 10, especially with half of Seattle’s wins coming against
the Rams and the 49ers.
11/12
Titans
7-5
With the return of Albert Haynesworth the Titans ended their 3 game losing streak by posting a home victory
over the Texans, reasserting
themselves as contenders for the second AFC wild card slot.
12/10
Browns
7-5
The Browns fell behind the Steelers in the AFC North by 2 games minus 2 games in hand
thanks to a heartbreaking loss
in Arizona where Winslow’s would be game winning touchdown catch was ruled incomplete (caught out of bounds
with no push-out).
The loss also dropped the Browns into a tie with the Titans for the second wild card slot
in the AFC.
13/15
Cardinals
6-6
With Fitzgerald already out, and Boldin on the sidelines, the Cardinals mustered just enough points
to outlast the high scoring Browns, thanks in part to a hail mary that was ruled caught out of bounds by Kellen
Winslow with no push-out… With the victory, the Cardinals remained 2 games plus 1 game in hand
behind the Seahawks in the NFC West.
14/14
Redskins
5-7
In an emotional game where Washington honored the life of Sean Taylor, the Redskins couldn’t quite hold off the Bills
who were aided in part by Gibbs calling back to back timeouts…
In a season full of close losses where the Redskins check in at two games below .500, they’re still
in the wild card race. Washington has been a formidable team; the standings don’t show it, but the power rankings know it.
15/13
Eagles
5-7
The Eagles lost a home game to Seattle dropping the club two games below .500, putting a further
damper on wild card hopes.
16/17
Vikings
6-6
The Vikings won their 3rd game in a row, grabbing a home over the Lions.
Minnesota is peaking and may be able to sneak into the playoffs.
17/21

Bills
6-6
Buffalo pulled to .500 with a last second win at Washington by way of a
Lindell field goal aided in part by Gibbs’ back to back timeouts penalty…
The Bills are just a few plays away this season from being at the forefront
of the wild card race.
18/16
Lions
6-6
The Lions lost their 4th game in a row, falling at Minnesota… Three of Detroit’s final four games look
brutal on paper; home to Dallas, at San Diego, and at Green Bay.
And that certainly doesn’t help in the playoff race.
19/18

Bears
5-7
The Bears’ slim playoff hopes took a major hit thanks to letting a 4th quarter lead slip away against the Giants…
The game was another in the long list of Bears’ contests this season that have swung wildly one way or the other in the final quarter.
20/19
Broncos
5-7
The Broncos fell 2 games minus 1 game in hand behind the Chargers in the AFC West thanks to losing in Oakland…
Furthermore, Denver’s wild card chances also took a hit due to the Titans grabbing their seventh win.
21/20
Saints
5-7
The Saints’ wild card plans took a major step backwards thanks to losing at home to
Tampa Bay.
22/22
Texans
5-7
The Texans were swept by the Titans and fell two games below .500
as Shaub once again was knocked out of the game with an injury.
23/25
Raiders
4-8
Oakland scored a double digit home win over Denver as Fargas ran wild. It was the Raiders’ second victory in row.
And the win dealt a major blow to the Broncos’ playoff aspirations.
24/23
Chiefs
4-8
The Chiefs lost at home to San Diego and are now on a five game losing streak.
Better luck next season.
25/24
Bengals
4-8
The Bengals grabbed 4 turnovers from the Steelers but were unable to score more than 10 points,
and fell to 4 games below .500.
26/26
Ravens
4-8
Baltimore joined Philadelphia in the “we almost had them” club.
27/28
Panthers
5-7
The Panthers broke their five game losing streak thanks to beating the 49ers at home (also
Carolina’s first home win of the season).
Amazingly, the Panthers are still in the playoff hunt, though barely.
28/29
Jets
3-9
The Jets grabbed their first road win of the season with a blowout at Miami.
29/30
Rams
3-9
Playing without Bulger the Rams scored a double digit home win over the Falcons.
It was the Rams’ third win in their last four games.
30/27
Falcons
3-9
The Falcons dropped their third game in row, falling at St. Louis.
The loss sank Atlanta to 6 games below .500.
31/31
49ers
3-9
The 49ers were blown out in Carolina as the offense
failed to net 200 yards (again).
32/32
Dolphins
0-12
The Dolphins were crushed at home by the Jets, failing to break 200 net yards on offense.
