1/1
Giants
9-1
The Giants showed off their offensive line power by running over the Baltimore
Ravens.
2/2
Titans
10-0
Trailing 14-3 at the half on Jacksonville, the Titans outscored the Jags
21-0 in the second half to remain perfect.
3/6
Panthers
8-2
Carolina stayed one game ahead of the Buccaneers thanks to their week 11 home
victory over the Lions.
4/3
Colts
6-4
It wasn’t pretty, but the Colts fended off the Texans to improve to two games
above .500, while remaining on pace for a wild card spot.
5/4
Steelers
7-3
The Steelers took another step towards icing the North by
squeaking out a victory over the Chargers.
6/7
Cardinals
7-3
The Cardinals moved another step closer to locking up the NFC West with a road
victory over the Seahawks… The champs come to town in week 12. A victory
would keep Arizona in contention for a first round playoff-bye.
7/8
Cowboys
6-4
With Romo back in action but quite rusty, the Cowboys used solid running and defense
to save their season with
a 4th quarter comeback win at Washington.
8/11
Buccaneers
7-3
Tampa Bay stayed in the hunt for the NFC South with a come from behind home win
over the Vikings… Graham may be out for the year.
9/5
Redskins
6-4
Washington had a chance to deal the Cowboys a huge blow as far as playoffs possibilities go,
but they fell at home. As a result, Washington’s own playoff possibilities
suffered a major blow. This could very well be the game which keeps them out.
10/16
Jets
7-3
The Jets took sole possession of first place in the AFC East thanks to a
dramatic overtime victory at New England… A trip to Tennessee is on deck.
If the Jets can get win number eight in week 12, you can pretty much pencil them
into the playoffs.
11/10
Ravens
6-4
Baltimore’s D-line couldn’t handle the Giants’ O-line, and the Ravens were crushed.
Baltimore’s four losses this season have come against, the Steelers, the Titans,
the Colts, and the Giants… Rough draw, eh?
12/17
Dolphins
6-4
The Dolphins kept their winning ways going with a narrow victory over the Raiders.
Miami’s game of the year comes this week at home against New England… A win
keeps the Dolphins in the playoff hunt, while a loss may prove too much to
overcome in the standings.
13/14
Patriots
6-4
Cassel had a major coming out party, but the Patriots had a too many
mishaps to beat the Jets at home, and they fell in overtime. This loss may very
well keep New England out of the playoffs.
14/9
Eagles
5-4-1
A disheartened Eagles squad that failed to beat the Giants at home saw their
playoff hopes more than likely
put to rest by playing to a tie in Cincinnati.
15/21
Broncos
6-4
The Broncos won in Atlanta– it was Denver’s second road win in a row.
The power rankings approve, and more importantly the Broncos are back
on track to winning the AFC West.
16/12
Falcons
6-4
The Falcons might have seen their playoffs hopes dashed
with their home loss to the Broncos… Atlanta’s remaining schedule isn’t
easy.
17/18
Packers
5-5
The Packers’ hopes for winning the NFC North were rekindled thanks to mauling the Bears
in Green Bay.
18/13

Bears
5-5
The Bears were obliterated in Green Bay. Chicago’s
playoff hopes are in jeopardy mostly thanks to way too many blown leads
this season.
19/15
Vikings
5-5
Minnesota’s playoff aspirations took a hit as they let one get away in Tampa Bay.
20/24
Browns
4-6
Cleveland eaked out a victory Monday night in Buffalo… But it’s too little
too late, as the
Browns’ 2008 season will go down as a tail of a brutal schedule.
21/22
Saints
5-5
The Saints got back to .500 with a win in Kansas City,
but they’ll need a miracle to qualify for the postseason.
22/23
Chargers
4-6
The Chargers lost a heartbreaker in Pittsburgh and now trail the Broncos by two games in the
AFC West– not to mention Denver has a game in hand… You do the math.
23/19

Bills
5-5
Monday night, hosting Cleveland, a shot to stay in the wild card hunt
on the line… Wide right.
24/20
Jaguars
4-6
Jacksonville had a double digit lead on the Titans at halftime.
But Tennessee blew them out in the second half, essentially ending
Jacksonville’s season…
Quite a disappointing follow up to last year’s
divisional round playoff game in New England.
25/25
Texans
3-7
The Texans weren’t able to exact revenge on the Colts at Indianapolis.
The loss dropped Houston to four games below .500… Better luck next year.
26/28
Bengals
1-8-1
Cincinnati played Philadelphia to a tie at home. That makes two straight
games without an “L”… Progress.
27/31
49ers
3-7
San Francisco demolished the Rams at home. It was their second well
played game in row. Keep an eye on these Singletary Niners.
28/27
Raiders
2-8
The Raiders made it a game at Miami, but in the end they accomplished what they
accomplish most weeks… Another “L”.
29/26
Rams
2-8
The Rams were blown out in San Francisco. The loss dropped St. Louis to 6 games below .500.
Enough said.
30/29
Chiefs
1-9
The Chiefs couldn’t match scores with the Saints and they fell at home. The loss
dropped K.C. to eight games below .500. Draft position, draft position,
draft position.
31/30
Seahawks
2-8
Seattle lost at home to Arizona
and passed the NFC West torch to the Cards.
32/32
Lions
0-10
Detroit remained winless– as they incurred loss number 10 at the claws of the Panthers.
All signs still point to a winless season.
