1/1
Patriots
10-0
Brady and Moss connected for 4 touchdowns in the first half as the Patriots crushed the Bills
to remain perfect.
2/2
Cowboys
9-1
The Cowboys survived a hungry Washington team thanks to Romo and T.O. connecting
for 4 touchdowns. The big game with Green Bay is just two weeks away.
3/4
Packers
9-1
Green Bay topped the Panthers by 14… If not for a second half meltdown against Chicago in week 5,
the Packers could be undefeated.
4/3
Colts
8-2
It wasn’t pretty but the Colts edged out Kansas City to keep one game ahead of Jacksonville
in the AFC South.
5/6
Jaguars
7-3
The Jaguars grabbed a home win over the Chargers to stay at the forefront
of wild card contention.
6/8
Giants
7-3
With their win in Detroit the Giants moved one step closer to a wild card berth.
The Giants only losses are to teams with records of (9-1).
7/5
Steelers
7-3
Roethlisberger was sacked 7 times and the Steelers fell to the Jets
in overtime… Even with the upset, the Steelers are in great shape to take the AFC North
thanks to having swept the Browns.
8/11
Buccaneers
6-4
Tampa Bay blew out Atlanta to improve to 2 games over .500.
The Buccaneers have surrendered the fewest points in the NFC.
Barring a meltdown the NFC South is theirs.
9/7
Titans
6-4
Playing without Albert Haynesworth for the second week in a row left Tennessee’s defense
vulnerable, and the Titans fell in Denver. The loss could have negative tie-breaker implications for the playoffs,
especially if the Broncos keep winning.
10/9
Chargers
5-5
Not many teams win in Jacksonville. And the Chargers joined the club.
Fortunately for San Diego, the AFC West doesn’t have a team above .500.
11/10
Redskins
5-5
The Redskins almost won in Dallas (9-1). The Redskins almost won in Green Bay (9-1).
Then there’s that close loss to the Giants (7-3). The Redskins are just a few plays away from
being (7-3) or even (8-2).
So don’t let their record fool you… Washington has played a very tough schedule, and they’re
a solid football team that can give any team other than the Patriots a run for their money.
12/13
Cardinals
5-5
Arizona stayed in the playoff hunt with a win in Cincinnati. But when push comes to shove it’s
the last second loss in week 1 to the hot starting 49ers which may keep the Cardinals out of the playoffs…
13/17
Eagles
5-5
McNabb sprained an ankle, but the Eagles got back to .500 anyway as the defense held
Miami to under 200 yards of total offense.
Perhaps the Eagles are looking to make another second half run like last season. Then again,
they visit New England next week.
14/12
Lions
6-4
The Lions lost their first home game this season compliments of the New York Giants.
The loss couldn’t have come at a worse time or to a worse team considering the wild card race.
15/18
Broncos
5-5
Denver got back to .500 with a home win over the Titans on Monday night.
The win brought Denver into a tie for first place with San Diego in AFC West.
However, the Chargers currently have an edge in the head to head matchup.
16/14
Browns
6-4
The Browns swept the Ravens as Dawson and Anderson provided the heroics leading Cleveland to yet another
come from behind win. With the victory the Browns improved to two games above .500 and stay in the playoff
hunt… However, as far as power rankings go, the Browns are lacking in the “quality wins department”.
17/15
Seahawks
6-4
Seattle got revenge for last season’s divisional playoff loss to Chicago.
The win keeps the Seahawks one game ahead of the Cardinals in the NFC West.
However, the Cardinals currently have the edge in the head to head matchup.
18/16

Bills
5-5
In their two games versus New England this season the Bills were outscored 94-17.
19/20

Bears
4-6
The Bears lost at Seattle and are now two games below .500.
To make the playoffs Chicago will probably have to win at least 5 of their last 6 games.
20/23
Texans
5-5
With Shaub and Johnson back on offense, Houston made quick work of the Saints to get back to .500.
21/21
Chiefs
4-6
The Chiefs played a close game at Indianapolis, but they couldn’t
get the win. As a result, Kansas City’s chances of winning the AFC West took a major hit
with the record slipping to 2 games below .500.
22/19
Saints
4-6
The Saints fell at Houston to make it two losses in a row. Could they be going for another four game losing
streak?
23/22
Vikings
4-6
The Vikings showed it’s not all Adrian. They have some great run blocking and Chester is no slouch.
If only Minnesota had a legitimate quarterback this season; someone who can actually throw the ball like a Drew Bledsoe
(currently retired), they would probably
be (6-4) now, perhaps better.
24/24
Bengals
3-7
Palmer was picked off three times by Antrel Rolle who returned two for touchdowns as
Cincinnati fell at home to Arizona despite allowing only 247 yards of offense.
25/25
Ravens
4-6
Baltimore got swept by Cleveland. Where, oh where has the Ravens’ defense gone?
26/27
Panthers
4-6
Carolina fell two games below .500 thanks to getting dominated at Green Bay.
27/30
Jets
2-8
With Clemens at the helm the Jets shocked the Steelers in overtime, thanks in part to the defense sacking Roethlisberger 7 times, and
Thomas Jones becoming the first back to rush for 100 yards against the Steelers in over two years.
Keep in mind the Jets have blown
numerous leads this season. It’s not as if they haven’t shown any competitiveness.
28/26
Falcons
3-7
Leftwich turned the ball over four times as the Falcons were blasted at home
by the Buccaneers.
29/29
Rams
2-8
The Rams grabbed their second win in a row. But what’s with the paltry 207 yards on offense?
It was nothing like last week’s win at New Orleans.
30/28
Raiders
2-8
The Raiders lost their 6th game in row, falling at Minnesota, thanks to allowing over 475 yards of offense
to the Vikings.
31/31
49ers
2-8
The 49ers fell to six games below .500 after losing at home to the Rams;
bringing the losing streak to 8 games in a row.
32/32
Dolphins
0-10
Beck got his first start and completed 9 passes. On the plus side at least he
didn’t get picked off. Dolphins’ fans finally got to see Ginn Jr. return a kick for a touchdown that
wasn’t called back by a penalty.
