Congratulations to the Colts, this season’s Super Bowl champs.
When the 2006 schedule first came out, we pegged it as one of the toughest
schedules the Colts have drawn since moving out of the AFC East.
But after beating the Bears in Super Bowl XLI, Indianapolis improved to 8-1 against
playoff teams. Clearly the best team finished on top in the NFL this season.

Chicago’s offense just couldn’t get going against the Colts’ defense in Super Bowl 41.
Overall Chicago finished 5-2 against playoff teams,
with their only losses coming against New England and Indianapolis.
So what’s next for this Chicago team that at many times appeared to be only a quarterback away from
true greatness? Stay tuned for our answer to that question during the offseason.
