Colts
|
16-2†
|
It was a tale of two halfs versus the Jets. With their backs against the wall,
the Colts played the perfect second half on both sides of the ball.
But could they have played the perfect season?
Either way, it doesn’t seem like this question will be on players’
minds versus the Saints in Super Bowl XLIV.

Vikings
|
13-5†
|
The Vikings certainly outyarded the Saints by enough to warrant a
victory in the NFC championship game… But turnovers proved costly,
and Favre spent a little too much time with his pants on the ground
(literally)
and Minnesota fell in OT at New Orleans.

Saints
|
15-3†
|
When you knock the opposing QB down as much as the Saints did
to Brett Favre, and the opposition fumbles as often as Minnesota did, it’s usually a blowout.
But the Saints needed overtime to land a trip to Super Bowl XLIV
versus the Colts as they were dramatically outyarded by the Vikings.

Jets
|
11-8†
|
The Jets looked to be live dogs at Indianapolis, playing a terrific first half…
But in the second half their defense buckled while their offense was shutout,
leading to a loss in the AFC championship game.
