It's a tough stretch between weeks 10 - 13 when the Patriots face four teams in a row that reached the postseason a year ago.

Other potentially competitive games include; @Miami in week 1, San Diego in week 2, Dallas in week 6, New York Giants in week 9, @Washington in week 14.

Meanwhile, lighter competition include the customary two tilts with Buffalo (weeks 3 & 17), @Oakland in week 4, @Denver in week 15, and home to Miami in week 16.

Further on the plus side, New England draws both Miami and Indianapolis at home in cold December. And their early September trip to hot Miami is a night game.

Record Projection:
In 2011 we project the Patriots to go (13-3), topping the Las Vegas season win total of 11.5 games.
