Green Bay Packers 2007 NFL Projection:
The Green Bay Packers find a much tougher schedule in 2007 compared to that of the previous season
with seven games versus teams that made the playoffs in 2006. Throw in additional games at Denver and versus
Carolina and it's hard to get overly excited about the Packers' prospects this year.
To make scheduling matters worse, the Packers
open with three games in a row versus teams that made the playoffs last season;
Philadelphia, at N.Y. Giants, and San Diego.
Favre and company will have to come out blazing to avoid a potential (0-3) start.
With questions at running back and offensive line, the Packers may find themselves relying on their defense
to keep them in games. However, only six other teams in the NFL surrendered more points than Green Bay
did last season.
Overall we're predicting a record of (4-12) for the Packers in 2007, which could potentially
be enough to take second place in the NFC North.
