the Broncos' QB of the future.

An improving Oakland Raiders squad...
Abundance of highly competitive teams
in the AFC heading into the '10 season
the New York Jets, Baltimore Ravens,
Cincinnati Bengals, Indianapolis Colts, Miami Dolphins, Pittsburgh
Steelers, Tennessee Titans, San Diego Chargers,
New England Patriots, and Houston Texans.
In 2010 the Broncos will play 6 games versus teams that made the playoffs a season ago;
Of course the Cardinals figure to be a different team without QB Warner, and division rival San Diego
has contract woes with WR Vincent Jackson and LT Marcus McNeill.
Other potentially competitive matchups include;
The Broncos also have their fair share of lighter competition on paper;
Most of these contests aren't until the second half of the season.
The Broncos took steps to shore up their run defense,
but have also been bit hard by the injury bug with the loss of pass rush
dynamo Elvis Dumervil, plus key injuries to their offensive line and backfield.
Overall we project the Broncos to go (7-9) in 2010-- it's an upgrade from
our opening projection just prior to the regular season kicking off,
but not quite the .500 mark.
