2006 NFL Projection:
The Dallas Cowboys don't find the easiest schedule
in 2006 thanks to playing in the tough NFC East and also lining
up versus the NFC South in this season's slate of games. But
the 2005 Cowboys could have been 12-4 if not for a few missed short
field goal attempts, and the key injury to left tackle Flozell Adams,
forcing first year players to handle both the left and right tackle
positions. Opposing teams were having a difficult time getting pressure
on Bledsoe before Adams went down, and Bledsoe was on pace to smash
the Cowboys single season passing yards record before the loss of
With the return of Adams in 2006, and added depth at
both left and right tackle, the offensive line looks to reclaim
the level seen early in 2005.
Furthermore, the addition of Terrell Owens to an
already potent Bledsoe to Glenn & Witten duo may simply be too
much for most defenses to handle assuming the offensive line holds
up. Combine the improvements on offense with a solid defense and
the Cowboys check in as the FootballLOCKS.com favorite to represent
the NFC in this season's Super Bowl.
